We are searching for a Part-Time (0.53 FTE) Concierge to join our Parkland Ajax team based in Ajax, Ontario.

About the Opportunity
- Shifts will be 4:00pm - 8:00pm with alternating weekends
- 21 Guaranteed Hours Per Week
- Ensures reception area of campus is in adherence to brand standards at all times
- Communicates with chauffeur when resident is ready for pick up
- Answers internal and external phone calls and processes requests according to Parkland policies and procedures
- Responds to resident requests in a timely manner and in accordance with Parkland policies and procedures
- Provides assistance to residents in transporting personal belongings to their suite
- Supports the Administrative team for clerical needs
- Enters resident maintenance service requests into appropriate software
- Performs a wide variety of typing assignments, and operates the computer to enter data, edit, revise, and, create memos, tables, and other material.
- Monitors fire and security alarm panels, follows safety and security duties as per facility policy.
- Prepares photocopies and facsimiles, sorts and distributes incoming/outgoing mail.
About You
In addition to placing high value on continuous improvement, collaboration and accountability, you bring:
- High School /GED completion.
- Excellent computer skills and experienced well in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Previous hospitality/customer service experience an asset especially with seniors.
- Required to be available for day, evening and weekend shifts .
- A passion for the healthcare sector and/or ensuring seniors have access to quality accommodations, services and care.
