We are currently looking for a full-time Scheduling Specialist to join our team at our Saskatoon location for a one-year term beginning in July, 2026.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Reporting to the Operations Coordinator, the Scheduling Specialist ensures the Company’s Scheduling processes and documents are accurate, and that information flows in a timely and accurate manner to internal customers from other departments within the Company.
Key accountabilities include:
· Utilizing the tools available to the department to compile an accurate Schedule for all plants
· Compiling and releasing all documentation expected from the Scheduling Department within expected timeframes
· Reviewing compiled information and providing insight to departments where there are discrepancies in information provided, or between expected and reported levels of output or capacities
· Accurately compiling and entering information relating to staffing levels, both current and expected, into the scheduling forms used as well as capacity reports by working with Payroll, Production, and Human Resources
· Accurately entering and updating information into ERP as it relates to Scheduling. This includes Sales Orders, Item Cards, and Work Order dates;
· Compiling and reviewing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the department before presenting to the Operations Coordinator at the start of each month.
· Clearly communicating with employees, supervisors, and managers as necessary to ensure accurate information is received and provided as it relates to Schedule related information, documentation, or forms
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
· Minimum Grade 12.
· 1-3 years of experience with scheduling manufacturing processes or a manufacturing facility
· High attention to detail
· Ability to adapt to a variable workload
· Computer proficiency (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint)
· Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software is an asset
· Experience or training in Lean Manufacturing is an asset
· Ability to collaborate with a team
· Strong communication skills
