McLeod’s By-Products is seeking a reliable and motivated Temporary Part-Time Installation & Delivery Technician to support our operations. This role combines customer service, driving, and hands-on installation work while servicing new and existing customers throughout British Columbia.
This position offers 20–40 hours per week, working up to four 8-hour shifts on either a Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday schedule, depending on operational requirements. We will guarantee work until the end of August - perfect for a student or any other individual looking for temporary employement.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and install bins and their related equipment to customer locations across BC.
- Deliver, relocate, exchange, and set up bins and barrels for new and existing customers.
- Safely operate company vehicles while maintaining a professional image.
- Use mobile apps and electronic devices to complete work orders, installations, and service records.
- Provide friendly, professional customer service during each visit.
- Complete installations accurately and efficiently using basic hand tools.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence with a clean driving record.
- Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, mobile apps, and other technology.
- Mechanically inclined with the ability to perform basic installations.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Dependable, organized, and safety conscious.
- Willing to travel and work out of town when required.
- Physically capable of lifting, moving, and installing bins, barrels, and equipment.
