Software Product Enablement Specialist
As a Software Product Enablement Specialist at Sunwire, you will act as the bridge between the software development team and the users of the software, enabling users to make the best use of the features available to them.
You will own the communication, training, rollout, and user adoption work that sits between feature development and successful staff or customer use.
JOB DUTIES:
· Reports directly to the Director of Products & Software
· Work with software developers, quality assurance, and project managers to understand the technical details and functionality of features as they are built.
· Own the release calendar for Sunwire’s products and co-ordinate release timing with project managers and internal teams.
· Track and complete all rollout prerequisites prior to product release dates.
· Prepare release-ready documentation such as change logs and administrator guides.
· Ensure that internal teams are prepared to use, sell, or assist customers with new releases through the creation of training materials or live training sessions.
· Work with the marketing team to create marketing materials, customer communications, and external training materials for new features.
· Follow up with target customers and customer-facing teams post-release to confirm feature on-boarding and use.
· Collect structured customer and staff feedback on released features.
· Participate in meetings with customers or staff to answer questions about existing features or to discuss requests for new features.
QUALIFICATIONS AND PROFICIENCIES:
· Strong written and verbal communication.
· Comfort with technical concepts – able to learn product features deeply enough to explain them confidently and clearly to non-technical users.
· Strong organizational skills, with experience managing multiple parallel workstreams, calendars, and stakeholder commitments.
· Comfort in customer-facing situations, including running demos and gathering structured feedback.
· Experience producing training content (videos, written guides, or live sessions) for technical products.
· Prior experience in product marketing, customer enablement, technical writing, sales engineering, or product operations.
· Familiarity with video production and demo recording tools.
