Experienced Kitchen Chef
Maru Sushi is currently hiring a full-time Experienced Japanese Kitchen Chef to join our team.
Job Duties:
- Prepare and cook hot food menu items
- Cook Teriyaki, Yakisoba, Ramen, Udon, Tempura, and other Japanese dishes
- Prepare sauces and food ingredients independently
- Maintain food quality and presentation standards
- Keep kitchen clean and organized
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Requirements:
- Minimum 2–3 years of Japanese restaurant kitchen experience REQUIRED
- Experience preparing hot food and Japanese sauces
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented
- Food Safe certification is an asset
Job Type:
Full-time / Part-Time / Permanent
Pay: $35.00-$38.00 per hour

- Secondary School (preferred)

- Japanese restaurant: 2 years (preferred)
