Overview
We are seeking experienced Equipment Operators to join our team at Yukon Gold Mining. Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery including dozers, loaders, excavators, graders, backhoes, and paving equipment to support mining activities.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.
- Assist with horizontal drilling operations and other construction-related tasks as needed.
- Manage material movement efficiently across the site, adhering to safety protocols.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a secure work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within scope.
Skills
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as Caterpillar machinery, dozers, loaders, excavators, graders, backhoes, and paving equipment.
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and minor repairs of heavy machinery.
- Commercial driving experience preferred for transporting equipment or materials between sites.
- Familiarity with horizontal drilling techniques and construction site operations.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation in mining environments.
- Ability to work in physically demanding conditions and operate machinery for extended periods.
- Construction experience is highly desirable for understanding project workflows and site safety standards.

Pay: $22.07-$40.36 per hour
