Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate Christian follower of Jesus who is also a dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing, engaging, and safe learning environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role involves designing age-appropriate activities, supporting individual needs—including those with disabilities—and collaborating with families to promote positive growth. The Early Childhood Teacher will play a vital role in inspiring a love of learning in our young students and supporting their early developmental milestones.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards
- Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning
- Support the social and emotional development of children through positive interactions and guidance
- Adapt activities to meet the diverse needs of children, including those with disabilities
- Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining detailed records of developmental milestones
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and classroom activities
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan curriculum enhancements and classroom management strategies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom environment to ensure safety and accessibility
Experience
- 5 years of experience
- Qualifications in Infant Toddler Care and Special Needs
- Certified First Aid Certificate
- IT/SN License Certificate
- ECE BC Validation
