La Saison de Patisserie is a new Vancouver based French patisserie focusing on artisan French pastries, entremets, chocolate and sandwiches. We will also be serving high quality roasted coffee and premium tea.

We are currently looking for PART TIME (afternoon shift) Café Staff candidates who are passionate about coffee and delicious pastries to join our team at 3868 Rupert Street, Vancouver, BC.
You will be working in a team that shares common standards and enthusiasm for quality and service. Training for this position will be a week. The training will be full-time and the chosen candidates will be required to find reliable transportation to the location.
Note: MUST HAVE VALID WORK PERMIT

Mon - Fri: 4pm to 8:30pm

Duties and responsibilities
~ Adaptability, flexibility, and willingness to learn new things and be
exposed to all aspects of the store
~ Demonstrate commitment to creating an exceptional employee and
customer experience
~ Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time
~ Ability to lift medium to large items, up to 40 pounds, while using
appropriate equipment and safety techniques
~ Take customer orders and convey them to other employees for
preparation.
~ Receive and process customer payments
~ Describe menu items to customers or suggest products that might appeal to
them
~ Prepare or serve menu items, such cakes, chocolate, veinosseries, or sandwiches.
~ Stock customer service stations with paper products or beverage
preparation items.
~ Order, receive, or stock supplies or retail products.
~ Check temperatures of freezers, refrigerators, or heating equipment to
ensure proper functioning.
~ Following set procedures for food handling, storing, and re stocking
~ Bus tables, dishwashing, cleaning as needed.
~ Clean or sanitize work areas, utensils, or equipment.
~ Clean service or seating areas.
~ Take out garbage and recycle.
Optional
~ Barista skills and experience not required, but is a bonus.
