Registered Massage Therapist (RMT)
Overview
We are seeking a skilled, compassionate, and professional Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) to join our growing wellness team in Alberta. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping clients improve their health and well-being through therapeutic massage treatments and exceptional client care. This role requires strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional massage therapy treatments tailored to each client's individual needs, including relaxation, deep tissue, therapeutic, and rehabilitative massage techniques.
- Conduct client assessments, review health histories, and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with professional and clinic standards.
- Educate clients on treatment goals, self-care strategies, stretching, and wellness practices to support ongoing health and recovery.
- Ensure treatment rooms and equipment are clean, sanitized, and maintained according to health and safety regulations.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by creating a welcoming, comfortable, and professional environment.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a recognized 2,200-hour Massage Therapy program (or equivalent).
- Membership in good standing with a recognized Alberta massage therapy association eligible for insurance reimbursement.
- Current professional liability insurance.
- Strong knowledge of massage techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in therapeutic, deep tissue, prenatal, sports, or rehabilitation massage.
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
