Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Bartenders to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. Previous and/or current experience as a Bartender is required, particularly in restaurant or hospitality setting. This role requires strong time management, food safety awareness, and cash handling skills to deliver efficient service while adhering to all safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately according to standard recipes.
- Handle cash transactions using POS systems such as Micros POS with precision and efficiency.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests professionally and courteously.
- Restock supplies as needed, including garnishes, glassware, and beverages.
- Follow all food handling protocols to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible alcohol service in accordance with legal requirements.
- Assist in serving food when necessary, supporting overall restaurant operations.
- Demonstrate knowledge of menu items to answer guest questions confidently.
Experience
- Previous experience as a bartender/mixologist is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is advantageous.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures is essential.
- Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse guests.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and managing tabs accurately.
