We are seeking a highly organized and creative Sales & Product Development Coordinator to join our team on a 16-month contract basis to support a maternity leave coverage. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with our Product Development team across North America, Europe, and International markets while gaining hands-on experience in custom apparel development and offshore production coordination. This is a 16-month contract position providing maternity leave coverage.
NATURE AND SCOPE
- Assist with custom inquiries across all markets, North America, Europe and International
- Create virtual and presentation decks to present to the distributor and agent.
- Perform intermediate image editing, colour correction, background cleanup, and product detail enhancements.
- Develop repeat graphics and digital pattern designs for panel prints and interior garment linings.
- Work closely with finance to establish payment terms & coordinate deposit payments.
- Communicate pricing, minimums and lead times to the distributor and agent.
- Maintain and update the SMU tracking document and prepare monthly reporting summaries.
- Work closely with the purchasing department to ensure sku’s are developed and purchased orders are placed with the factory to achieve the customer’s delivery date.
- Follow up with the factory on all approval submissions, logo strike offs, custom trims, lab dips and pre-production samples.
- Provide all approval submissions to the distributor for feedback.
- Assist with quality control procedures on all approval submissions including design inspections and measuring/fitting garments.
- Develop custom trim packs for Strategic Accounts and oversee stocked trim inventory.
- Other duties may be assigned by the Product Development Manager.
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, DC Pro, and Microsoft Excel.
- Understanding of garment construction and decoration applications.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure while meeting deadlines.
- Positive attitude, flexibility, and strong interpersonal skills.
- Prior experience in the apparel, product development, or promotional industry is considered an asset

Salary range: $50,000 to $60,000
The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
