About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior SEO Manager to lead and scale the organic growth engine for Wellness Extract. This role will be responsible for both strategy and execution of SEO, with a focus on increasing organic traffic, improving search visibility, and driving revenue from search channels. You will work closely with the growth, content, and product teams to identify high-impact opportunities and build scalable SEO systems. This is a hands-on role requiring both strategic thinking and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Organic Growth Strategy

Own the SEO roadmap and organic acquisition strategy
Identify high-impact keyword opportunities aligned with user intent
Develop content strategies for categories, products, and informational pages
Monitor algorithm updates and evolving search trends

2. Content-Led SEO

Build and manage the organic content roadmap
Work with writers to create high-quality, SEO-optimized content
Translate keyword insights into structured content briefs
Optimize existing content to improve rankings and traffic

3. Technical SEO

Conduct technical SEO audits (crawlability, indexation, site health)
Collaborate with developers to resolve SEO issues
Improve internal linking, metadata, structured data, and site performance
Maintain overall technical SEO health

4. Authority Building

Develop strategies to improve domain authority
Identify opportunities for backlinks, partnerships, and PR
Track competitor strategies and identify gaps

5. Emerging Search & Discovery

Adapt SEO strategies for AI-driven and generative search
Explore organic discovery via communities (e.g., Reddit)

6. Performance Measurement

Track SEO metrics such as traffic, rankings, and conversions
Build dashboards and reporting frameworks
Share insights and recommendations with leadership

Requirements:

Experience & Skills

5–8+ years of experience in SEO or organic growth
Proven experience scaling organic traffic for eCommerce or consumer brands
Strong expertise in on-page, off-page, and technical SEO
Experience with Shopify or similar platforms preferred
Strong understanding of keyword research and search intent
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Tools & Platforms:

Google Search Console, GA4
Ahrefs / SEMrush
Screaming Frog or similar tools

Soft Skills:

Strong project management skills
Good communication and stakeholder management

Good to Have:

Experience in health, wellness, supplements, or regulated industries
Familiarity with AI-based SEO tools
Experience working with global markets
Understanding of CRO, UX, and experimentation
