The Grand Falls-Windsor Heritage Society is seeking 3 labourers for the construction of a wagon display building on our property. These positions are funded through the Job Creation Partnerships (JCP) program.
Term: is for 14 weeks with anticipated start date on July 27th, 2026.
Duties: Successful applicants will assist with the construction of a wagon display building including general labour, site preparation, clean-up, and related project work.
Eligibility: Must be a resident of Newfoundland & Labrador; be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident legally entitled to work in Canada; be approved by the department under Section 25 of the Employment Insurance Act as insured participants who are active EI claimants; have an employment plan that identifies this work experience as supporting a reasonable occupational goal
Qualifications: Experience in construction or general labour is considered an asset; ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors; ability to work well with others and follow direction; reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
Pay: $18.29 per hour
