WE ARE HIRING "Specialist- Global Logistics - 1 Year Contract (Bilingual English/Korean)"
Position Summary:
As the Specialist of the Global Logistics Team, your primary responsibilities revolve around monitoring and arranging inbound transportation / customs clearance brokerage according to agreements. Managing warehouse operations, including coordinating daily inbound and outbound shipments and overseeing inventory using WMS. Additional responsibilities include handling documentation and billing, creating AP/AR reports, overseeing documents to ensure they are complete, tracking status of shipments, and supporting activities to expand market share.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and solve operational issues with both vendors and customers.
- Maintain accurate warehouse inventory data using Warehouse Management Systems.
- Coordinating and follow up on warehouse's daily inbound and outbound shipments until delivery.
- Creating and manage AP and AR reports with attention to detail.
- Handle all operational matters related to customs, managing transportation, and resolving issues.
- Coordinate the transportation of products to ensure secure and reliable delivery.
- Oversee shipping and delivery schedules for internal fleet and truck transportation.
- Confirm proper documentation is obtained and maintained.
- Update transportation reports, communicate information to appropriate parties, and respond to inquiries regarding reports and tracking information.
- Provide information to customers about services and support activities to expand market share and increase industry relevance.
- Manage transportation service billing for customers and vendors (AR/AP).
- Handle warehouse supply purchases and following up on inventory.
Education / Certification / License:
- HS Diploma / G.E.D is required.
- Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Driver's License.
- Valid Passport as it may be required for business travel.
Experience:
- 2 to 3 years of experience in logistics operation is required.
- Extensive experience in the logistics/automotive industry is preferred.
Competencies:
- Proficiency in Korean (both written and spoken) is required for this role.
- Good written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, customers, vendors, and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and take initiative to complete tasks proactively.
- Background and experience in WMS.
- Ability to multi-task with efficient time management skills.
- Excellent problem solving skills.

Pay: $52,000.00-$63,000.00 per year
