As an Associate, you will work closely with a Senior Financial Advisor and their team to deliver comprehensive financial planning solutions across a full range of products and services.
Drawing on your experience in an advisory environment, you will help grow the assets of a well‑established, client‑centric practice. You are a self‑motivated, disciplined professional with an entrepreneurial mindset and a strong passion for business development and exceptional client service.

We support University of Toronto pension members in navigating the new universal pension structure—simplifying key decisions and integrating cross‑border tax considerations into coordinated retirement plans.
Finance Professionals
We provide confidential, independent planning for finance professionals, offering holistic analysis of compensation, pensions, equity, and career decisions—free from employer influence.
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
· Designing and implementing business development strategies to grow current client base
· Leveraging existing client base and developing Centres of Influence to uncover HNW referral opportunities
· Generating new business opportunities through relationships with current clients and Centres of Influence
· Building relationships with new clients either independently or along with the Senior Financial Consultant
· Finding more opportunities to serve current clients
· Gathering data from clients to prepare plan/proposals
· Jointly meeting with clients alongside the Senior Financial Consultant
To qualify for this opportunity, you should possess:
· A Mutual Fund or Securities (RR) license and LLQP certification (or willing to obtain)
· Minimum 3 years of industry experience
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Strong computer skills in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point);
· Customer service orientation with a demonstrated ability to interact professionally with clients both on the phone and face-to-face
You should also have the following attributes:
· The ability to connect with, motivate and influence others
· Self-confident but highly coachable with a high level of integrity
· Demonstrated track record of helping clients achieve positive outcomes, and attracting referrals, introductions, and new business
· Desire to work in a successful and dynamic practice where each team member may wear more than one hat
· Desire to learn and be mentored by others
