On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Business Analyst. Capital Markets - System Integrations (APIs) for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2-3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

This role supports the Fractional Shares initiative, involving requirements gathering, solution design, and issue resolution. The Business Analyst will engage in system integrations and API projects, collaborating with stakeholders to enable effective solution design and implementation.
Business Analyst. Capital Markets - System Integrations (APIs) - Responsibilities:
- Elicit, document, and validate business and functional requirements
- Facilitate requirements walkthrough sessions with business and technology stakeholders
- Collaborate with technology teams on solution design and API integration requirements
- Demonstrate informed knowledge of equities and bonds business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities
- Support development of delivery roadmaps, timelines, and milestones
- Identify, track, and help resolve risks, issues, and dependencies
- Produce and maintain key documentation (user stories, process flows, requirement documents)
- Act as liaison between business, technology, and delivery teams
Business Analyst. Capital Markets - System Integrations (APIs) - Mandatory Skills:
- 10+ years of Business Analysis experience within financial services
- Experience with equities and bonds trading, brokerage, or digital platforms
- Experience working with system integrations and APIs
- Ability to translate complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements
- Experience in Agile or hybrid delivery environments
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong facilitation skills
Business Analyst. Capital Markets - System Integrations (APIs) – Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with Fractional Shares initiatives
- Knowledge of securities settlements
- Experience in a hybrid work environment
- Understanding of the Toronto financial market
- Familiarity with GWO - Settlements & Clearing

This is a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension or conversion to full-time employment.
