We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Wire Rope Rigger to join our dynamic team. This role involves supporting various warehouse operations of assembly of wire rope slings according to customer specifications for a Company specializing in lifting and traction equipment. The ideal candidate will have warehouse experience, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to operate equipment such as forklifts. Must be able to lift 50 lbs on regular basis. Valid Forklift certification (preferred). All training will be provided for the work. Group Health & Dental Benefits after 4 months. Opportunities for wage increases based on strong work performance.
Available Immediately, Full Time, Permanent, Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm, must be Physically Fit as this is a physically demanding position
$24.00 per hour to start with no previous rigging experience,this is a good position for someone wanting to seek a solid career in industrial lifting.
Hourly wage negotiable depending on previous rigging experience.
Duties: assembly of wire rope slings according to customer specifications for a Company specializing in lifting and traction equipment
Required:
- Physically fit, ability to lift 50 pounds
- Use of hydraulic press, sit down forklift and coiling machine
- previous counterbalance forklift experience (valid forklift certification preferred)
- Running reels of wire rope
- Ability to splice wire rope
- Able to work independently and with others
- 6 month previous work experience in a warehouse environment
- training will be provided
