The Peace River School Division is seeking applications for a Full-Time (1.0 f.t.e.) Educational Assistant at Breaking Point Colony School. This position will commence on August 27, 2026 and continue until June 29, 2027.
Breaking Point Colony School is a 2 classroom school serving approximately 15 students in grades K-12. The school is located close to the banks of the beautiful Peace River, approximately 45 kms from the community of Manning, Alberta.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children.

Preference will be given to candidates with an Educational Assistant Certificate or equivalent.
Skills:
- Ability to work with children with varied ages, skill level, needs and abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with teachers, students and families.
Requirements:
- Provide an acceptable current (within 6 months of application) Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check.

$22.59 to $28.02 per hour (dependent experience and education in accordance with the collective agreement between the and the Peace River School Division).
