Conrad Cushing Bain Inc. Chartered Professional Accountants, a full-service accounting firm in Tusket, NS, is expanding - and we are seeking a permanent full-time Manager or Senior Manager to join our team!

What You’ll Do:
- Review compilation and assurance engagements, including working paper files, financial statements, and corporate tax returns
- Prepare and/or review working paper files and tax returns for review and audit engagements
- Review personal tax returns and provide support during tax season
- Assist with financial projections, advisory work, and other client service matters
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and provide practical, timely support
- Support the development, training, and mentoring of accounting technicians, students, and other team members
- Help promote efficient office workflow, quality control, and strong file management
- Participate as an integral member of the management team and assist with practice management
- Take on other management-level duties as needed
What We’re Looking For:
- Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in public practice required
- Strong technical knowledge in compilation engagements, assurance engagements, corporate tax, and personal tax
- Effective communication skills and the ability to build trusted client relationships
- Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills
- High level of critical thinking, professional judgment, organization, and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and email, with the ability to adapt to new software
- Experience with CaseWare and Cantax considered an asset
- High level of personal integrity, strong work ethic, and a team-first approach
