Bizi Transport Inc. is a growing transportation company providing specialized transportation solutions across Canada. Our services include frac sand, sulphur, chemicals, cryogenics, and other specialized commodities. We are seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Business Development Representative to join our team and help drive continued growth.
Position Summary
The Business Development Representative will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and supporting the growth of Bizi Transport's service offerings. The successful candidate will work closely with leadership and operations teams to develop new business while ensuring customer expectations are met.
Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per year + bonus, based on experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within target industries.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective customers.
- Conduct market research and monitor industry trends.
- Generate leads through networking, prospecting, and industry events.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and pricing packages.
- Collaborate with operations and leadership teams to ensure service requirements can be effectively delivered.
- Maintain regular contact with customers to understand their transportation needs and identify growth opportunities.
- Represent Bizi Transport in a professional manner at meetings, conferences, and industry events.
- Track sales activities and business development efforts using company systems and reporting tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a business, technical, engineering, logistics, supply chain, or related discipline is required.
- Previous experience in business development, sales, account management, customer relations, or a related role.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to identify opportunities, develop sales strategies, and build long-term client relationships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Experience in transportation, logistics, industrial services, energy, oil and gas, manufacturing, or related industries is considered a strong asset.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license.
