Lacombe Ford is looking for a motivated, dependable, and customer-focused individual to join our Parts Department as a Junior Parts Advisor. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or grow a career in the automotive industry. Previous parts experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right person.
The successful candidate will assist customers and technicians with parts inquiries in person and on the phone, help manage inventory, receive and stock parts, and support the day-to-day operations of our busy Parts Department. This job does include physical labour as well as working at a parts counter, so applicants must meet job requirements of being able to lift up to 25KG. Will require a driver’s abstract prior to hiring. The job includes a regular 8 hour weekday shift with flexibility to have 7:30 am start or a 6:00 pm end time depending on the shift. An additional rotating one in four Saturdays may be required.
A starting wage based on experience will come with additional training and performance incentives and there is a chance for advancement. A benefits program will be available after probationary period. There will be reward for a strong work ethic and professional demeanour.
