Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavioural Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with children and adolescents, providing therapeutic support to enhance their emotional and behavioural well-being. This role requires a strong understanding of pediatric care and the ability to learn from a clinical team to implement individualized treatment plans effectively.
Duties
- Follow Behaviour Plans of Intervention, based on assessments, to increase the behavioural and emotional skills of children and adolescents.
- With the training provided at T&K, you will utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to support behavioural modification.
- Collaborate with the T&K team, parents, caregivers, and educational staff to ensure a comprehensive approach to therapy.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress, including data collection and case management documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field preferred, but not required.
- Experience working with neurodiverse children in a clinical or educational setting is highly desirable.
- Knowledge and/or of applied behaviour analysis terminology considered an asset.
- Strong data collection skills for tracking therapeutic progress and outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams.
- A passion for helping children achieve their full potential through supportive therapeutic practices.
