We currently have an opportunity to join our team as a full-time Customer Service Representative (CSR) / Cashier.
The CSR/Cashier is the primary point of contact for customers arriving at our facility to retrieve their vehicles. The successful candidate must have excellent customer service, communication, multitasking, and data-entry skills. Accuracy, professionalism, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential.
Schedule
- Full-time position
- Sunday to Thursday
- 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Training will be scheduled based on the successful candidate’s availability and will consist of approximately two weeks. Training will include payment processing, handling cash, debit and credit transactions, releasing vehicles, and balancing and cashing out a till at the end of each shift.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers arriving at the towing facility
- Process vehicle releases in accordance with company procedures
- Process cash, debit, and credit-card payments
- Count, balance, and cash out the till at the end of each shift
- Review and double-check invoices for accuracy
- Assist drivers with invoices and driver cashouts
- Answer telephone inquiries and assist customers in locating their vehicles
- Accurately enter and update information in the company system
- Maintain a professional and helpful attitude when dealing with customers, drivers, and other employees
- Follow all company cash-handling, payment-verification, and vehicle-release procedures
Requirements
- Secondary school diploma or equivalent
- At least two years of customer service experience
- At least one year of cash-handling experience
- Ability to pass a criminal record check
- Ability to type at least 40 words per minute
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of data-entry accuracy
