We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Cleaner/Custodian to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment at our busy medical clinic in Oshawa, Ontario.
This is a part-time evening position, working weekdays only after clinic hours. We offer flexible scheduling, making this an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking supplemental income. The position is also well suited for a couple who enjoy working together.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize examination rooms, offices, reception and waiting areas
- Vacuum, mop, dust, and disinfect floors and surfaces
- Clean and sanitize washrooms
- Empty garbage and recycling containers
- Restock washroom and cleaning supplies as needed
- Ensure the clinic is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and infection control
- Report any maintenance or supply issues
Qualifications
- Previous commercial, medical, or office cleaning experience is preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning products, disinfectants, and safe cleaning practices
- Reliable, trustworthy, and punctual
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
