About the Role InsureLine Brokers Rise is a growing insurance brokerage based in Richmond, BC. We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable individual to join our team as an Operations & Finance Coordinator.
This is a back-office support role focused on internal efficiency. You will be responsible for managing internal financial data, reconciling commission statements, and overseeing daily office inventory. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on keeping records accurate and organized in a professional, steady environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Commission Reconciliation: Track, calculate, and reconcile commission statements for internal staff and producers with high accuracy.
- Accounts Payable & Liaison: Act as the point of contact for insurance company finance departments regarding payments and statement reconciliation.
- Inventory Control: Manage and maintain daily office supplies and inventory to ensure smooth operations.
- Internal Coordination: Maintain clear communication with team members regarding financial records and administrative tasks.
Note: This role does not require insurance sales experience, an insurance license, or interaction with insurance underwriters or clients.
What We’re Looking For
- Precision: Exceptional attention to detail, especially when working with numbers and spreadsheets.
- Communication: Fluent in both English and Mandarin (written and verbal).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and common office software.
- Integrity: A proactive, honest, and professional approach to handling sensitive financial data.
- Experience: Previous office or administrative experience is an asset, but we value a systematic mindset and a positive attitude above all.
Compensation & Benefits
- Probationary Period (First 3 months): $20.00 per hour. This period allows us to ensure our workflow and your expertise are a great match.
- Post-Probation (After 3 months): Upon successful completion of your probation, your compensation will move to an annual base salary of $45,000.
- Performance Reviews: We value professional growth and consistency. We conduct annual salary reviews to adjust compensation based on performance, office contributions, and overall growth.
