Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and professional Nail Technician to join our beauty team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional nail care services, create a relaxing environment for clients, and promote overall wellness through expert treatments. The Nail Technician will also assist with retail sales and body waxing services, contributing to the overall success of our salon.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of nail care services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and attention to detail
- Provide body waxing treatments in accordance with sanitation and safety standards
- Engage with clients to understand their needs and recommend appropriate services and products
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work station following health regulations
- Upsell retail products to enhance client satisfaction and increase sales
- Deliver excellent customer service by creating a welcoming and relaxing environment
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding treatments, aftercare, and product recommendations
- Stay updated on the latest nail trends, techniques, and industry best practices
Experience
- Prior experience as a Nail Technician or in a similar beauty service role is preferred but not required; training will be provided for new technicians
- Knowledge of body waxing techniques is a plus
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
- Proven ability in retail sales and upselling to maximize client satisfaction and business growth
- Commitment to sanitation standards and safety protocols in all treatments
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
