Our Ideal Candidate
You are a seasoned Project Manager skilled at integrating seamlessly with clients. You have a successful track record of executing industrial construction projects with an emphasis on safety, quality, cost control, and schedule. In this role, you will deliver a variety of industrial projects, both domestic and international, while fostering a spirit of teamwork, collaboration, and innovation. A Day in the Life
- Implement Allnorth's values and vision to successfully deliver projects from concept through completion.
- Lead the development of projects and programs while establishing quality objectives.
- Build and manage multidisciplinary project teams through all phases of the project lifecycle, including planning, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and project closeout.
- Develop and manage project schedules, milestones, budgets, risk registers, and project controls.
- Liaise with clients, managers, employees, contractors, and vendors to define project requirements and expectations.
- Manage tendering activities, contract negotiations, and contract administration.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering and construction activities to ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.
- Proactively resolve project performance, scope, cost, and schedule issues with clients.
- Travel to client offices and project sites, including extended site assignments when required to support successful project delivery.
What You'll Bring to the Team
- Post-secondary education in Engineering.
- Registration as a P.Eng., or eligibility for registration, is considered an asset.
- PMP certification is considered an asset.
- 10+ years of construction project management experience in industrial, multidisciplinary environments.
- Experience planning projects involving large data sets and making data-driven decisions.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
- The ability to effectively balance multiple projects, priorities, and competing deadlines.
- Familiarity with 3D modeling and CAD software is considered an asset.
- Previous experience delivering projects in an EPCM environment is considered an asset.
