Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Hotel Front Desk Agent to provide exceptional guest services at our hotel. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and smooth check-in and check-out processes. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong customer service orientation, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing our ability to serve diverse guests. The Front Desk Agent plays a vital role in creating a positive guest experience and maintaining the hotel's reputation for hospitality excellence.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
- Manage multi-line phone systems to handle reservations, inquiries, and guest requests with professionalism and courtesy
- Provide accurate information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experience
- Handle guest complaints or concerns promptly and effectively, escalating issues when necessary
- Maintain accurate records of guest information, reservations, and billing details
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure guest rooms are prepared and issues are resolved swiftly
- Uphold high standards of phone etiquette, hospitality, and professionalism at all times
- Assist guests with special requests such as transportation, dining recommendations, or additional services
- Ensure the front desk area remains organized, clean, and welcoming
Experience
- Previous experience in front desk operations within a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Proficiency in multi-line phone systems and front desk software applications
- Excellent communication skills, including bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable
- Knowledge of hospitality standards and hotel procedures is a plus
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and poise
- Experience working in diverse environments that require adaptability and cultural sensitivity
We have subsidized fully furnished shared accommodation available for only $21 per day which comes with free internet and cable.
