Shipper/Receiver (Schedule 7:45AM – 4PM, Monday to Friday)
We are seeking someone with forklift and/or previous warehouse experience to join the warehouse department as a shipper/receiver.
Job Summary
The Shipper-Receiver, under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor, will primarily be responsible to manually load and unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, cars, and lifting devices. This position will operate lifting devices such as forklifts, pallet jacks and hoists. This role will also inspect and verify shipped goods for both incoming and outgoing items prior to signing off; reject damaged goods, repair and repackage damaged product.
Job Duties
- Manually load and unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, cars, and lifting devices
- Operate lifting devices such as forklifts, pallet jacks and hoists
- Inspect and verify shipped goods for both incoming and outgoing items prior to signing off; reject damaged goods, repair and repackage damaged product
- Manually arranging correct number of boxes, bulk packs or singles on to a wooden skid or into single boxes for orders
· Review requisition orders for accuracy and completeness
· Oversee cargo handling and secure loads in accordance with established safety requirements
Work Conditions

Pay: From $20.50 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:
- St. Albert, AB T8N 3Z7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
- Warehouse: 1 year (preferred)
- Forklift: 1 year (preferred)
