We are currently seeking an experienced Journeyman Welder to join our team. The primary scope of work is structural beam welding, so applicants must have strong experience working with structural steel and be able to produce high-quality welds that meet industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform structural beam welding as the main scope of work.
- Read and interpret shop drawings and welding symbols.
- Ensure all welds meet quality and safety standards.
- Inspect completed work for accuracy and quality.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be a certified Journeyman Welder.
- Must have several years of structural beam welding experience.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and welding drawings.
- Must be physically capable of lifting, standing, and working in a shop or field environment.
- Must have all required personal protective equipment (PPE), including appropriate welding helmet, safety boots, gloves, and other required safety gear.
Hiring Process
Qualified applicants may be required to complete a weld test as part of the interview process to demonstrate their skills.
