Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team, responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across commercial and residential settings. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in plumbing, welding, boiler systems, and appliance repair. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects requiring technical expertise in schematics and construction processes, ensuring optimal system performance and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems in accordance with industry standards and safety protocols
- Perform maintenance on heating, cooling, ventilation, boilers, and related mechanical systems
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to accurately diagnose issues
- Conduct plumbing and welding tasks as needed for system repairs or installations
- Repair appliances related to HVAC systems and assist with construction or renovation projects requiring mechanical expertise
- Use mechanical tools and diagnostic equipment to identify system malfunctions
- Ensure all work complies with local codes and safety regulations
- Document service activities thoroughly for record-keeping and future reference
Experience
- Proven experience working as an HVAC Technician or mechanic with a solid understanding of HVAC systems
- Knowledge of plumbing, welding, boiler operation, appliance repair, and general construction practices
- Familiarity with schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams for system troubleshooting
- Previous experience working with mechanical systems in residential or commercial environments is preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills combined with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Certification or licensing in HVAC or related fields is a plus but not mandatory
Pay: $30.00-$53.20 per hour
