About World Flag Series
The World Flag Series (WFS) is building flag football’s professional stage.
We create premium global, fan-first events, content, and experiences that showcase the best flag football athletes in the world while inspiring the next generation of fans and players. Our audience includes young athletes, families, coaches, fans, and the broader flag football community, with a major focus on the 5 to 18 year old athletes who are growing up playing the sport.
The Role
WFS is looking for a creative, energetic, and highly organized Content & Brand Engagement Lead to help bring WFS to life across social media, video, storytelling, and community engagement.
This role is for someone who understands social media, youth sports culture, athlete storytelling, and what makes content feel current, exciting, and shareable.
You will be responsible for helping shape what WFS looks and feels like online as we prepare for WFS1. That means coming up with content ideas, planning video shoots, capturing and editing content, managing the content calendar, posting across social channels, engaging with athletes and fans, and helping build the WFS brand every day.
This is a hands-on role. The right person is not just a strategist. They are someone who can see an opportunity, create the concept, capture the content, edit the video, write the caption, post it, and engage with the audience afterward. Speed and agility win here.
The position is considered a "seasonal position" as we prepare for WFS1 on July 25, 2026, The event aims to create 100 viral moments.
Future WFS events are being planned for later in 2026, which may allow for the position to be renewed.
Key Responsibilities
--Content Creation
- Develop and execute creative content ideas for WFS across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other relevant platforms.
- Create short-form video concepts that highlight athletes, plays, training, personality, behind-the-scenes moments, event buildup, fan reactions, and the culture of flag football.
- Capture, edit, and package content in a way that feels premium, fast-moving, and native to social media.
- Turn raw footage, athlete clips, interviews, event moments, and trends into compelling posts and videos.
- Help develop recurring content formats, series, and storytelling pillars for WFS.
--Brand Engagement
- Manage day-to-day social media activity and community engagement.
- Engage with athletes, teams, fans, youth players, coaches, partners, and flag football accounts.
- Identify moments, trends, conversations, and stories that WFS should participate in.
- Help make WFS feel active, relevant, and connected to the flag football community.
- Build relationships online with athletes and creators who can help amplify the brand.
--Content Planning
- Own and maintain the WFS content calendar.
- Plan content around event announcements, athlete reveals, game highlights, behind-the-scenes moments, partner activations, and key milestones.
- Work with leadership to understand the broader brand, event, and business priorities, then translate those priorities into content.
- Help ensure WFS is consistently telling the right story across platforms.
--Event & Athlete Storytelling
- Support content creation before, during, and after WFS events.
- Help identify athlete stories, rivalries, personalities, and moments that can drive fan interest.
- Create content that makes young athletes want to follow WFS, watch WFS, and imagine themselves competing on that stage one day.
- Help position WFS as the professional destination for elite flag football.

- You do not need decades of experience. You do need taste, energy, creativity, reliability, and the ability to get things done.
Ideal Qualifications
- Experience creating short-form video content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of social media trends, youth culture, sports content, and creator-style storytelling.
- Ability to shoot and edit content using tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, Canva, Photoshop, or similar platforms.
- Strong writing instincts for captions, hooks, headlines, and social copy.
- Comfortable engaging with athletes, fans, and community members online.
- Highly organized and able to manage a content calendar.
- Strong eye for what looks premium, modern, and on-brand.
- Interest in sports, flag football, football, youth sports, women’s sports, or athlete-driven content.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership without needing constant direction.
