Job Description
The General Labourer is responsible for assisting in packaging and production of all Nitmoi products. They are expected to comply with all company, provincial and federal safety and quality regulations and report to the Production Supervisor.
A General Labourer needs to be attentive, knowledgeable, and have a desire to work with other production team members to develop the best processes and products.
General Labourer Responsibilities:
· Observing all company, provincial and federal safety and quality regulations.
· Reporting accidents, safety violations, or other concerns to the Production Supervisor
· Working with other team members to complete the production and packaging of product.
· Packaging may include bottling product, capping, boxing, taping, labelling, lifting, wrapping and storage of skids
· Any additional responsibilities requested by the Production Supervisor and/or upper management, in order to support production.
General Labourer Requirements:
· High School Diploma or equivalent.
· More education or experience in a related field may be required.
· Experience working with and, certified to operate forklifts is an asset.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· A desire to work with team members in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
· Willingness to comply with safety and quality regulations, including wearing protective gear when necessary.
· Meeting physical requirements of the position, including walking, sitting, or standing for extended periods, lifting heavy objects, climbing, crouching, operating tools, and wearing safety gear. Ability to lift 50lbs or more.
· Must be punctual and show up for all scheduled shifts
**Probationary period 3 months
