About Performers Network
Performers Network ((PN)) is a structured event coordination platform that connects Event Coordinators, Team Leaders, Participants, and Venues into a unified event execution system. Every event on the PN — whether a musical showcase, sports tournament, workshop, community activity, or professional demonstration — runs through defined roles that keep everyone accountable from concept to close.
We are hiring our first in-house Event Coordinator to serve as a prototype practitioner: someone who will use the platform the way our members will, build events from scratch, and prove out the full recruitment and execution cycle.
What This Job Is
You will work as an EC member on the PN — meaning you will create real events, recruit real people into real roles, and run those events to completion using the platform's tools.
Think of it as: you are member number one who proves the playbook works. This is an opportunity to demonstrate competence for a future platform management role.
Responsibilities: Event Creation & Execution
- Create events on the PN platform from concept through post-event close
- Define all event roles (Participant slots, Team Leader assignments, Venue requirements)
- Configure role tickets, pricing, and schedules
- Activate sales, track participation, and generate post-event reports
- Manage the EC Transaction Center and reconcile event revenue
Venue Recruiting (V roles)
- Identify and cold-contact venue operators (studios, gyms, community halls, performance spaces, recreational facilities, etc.) to register as Venue members
- Negotiate space allocation and availability
- Onboard venues into the platform and link them to events
Team Leader Recruiting (TL roles)
- Identify candidates with team management, coaching, facilitation, or group leadership experience
- Cold-recruit and onboard TLs appropriate to each event type
- Assign TLs to schedules and role pools within events
- Open inquiry threads and brief TLs on their responsibilities
Participant Recruiting (P roles)
- Source and cold-recruit Participants for assigned roles — musicians, athletes, speakers, facilitators, technicians, volunteers, or any event-specific function
- Guide new Participants through the PN onboarding and subscription process
- Ensure all assigned P roles are filled, confirmed, and prepared before event day
Member Development
- Maintain a pipeline of prospective Participants, Team Leaders, and Venue contacts
- Track outreach activity and member conversion
- Identify event types that attract the highest quality member recruitment
Media Marketing
- Build event driven promotional materials including images and video
Required Experience
- Minimum 3 years in event planning, event production, or event operations
- Demonstrated experience managing multi-role events from pre-production through execution
- Cold outreach and recruitment experience — you are comfortable calling strangers and asking them to do something new
- Strong organizational skills; ability to juggle multiple events and role pipelines simultaneously
- Familiarity with structured role/team management (sports leagues, performing arts productions, corporate training events, community programs, etc.)
- Demonstrated content and media creation skills
- Will consider lesser experience if can demonstrate ambition and competence in other administrative fields
Strongly Preferred
- Experience recruiting talent, players, performers, or volunteers for events
- Experience engaging venues directly (booking, negotiation, coordination)
- Background in performing arts, sports management, recreation, or community programming
- Comfortable learning web-based tools; platform training will be provided
Compensation
Event-based contracts with intent of minimum $5000 to $10,000 or more earnings goal. Flexible schedule with in-person requirements tied to event dates. Platform membership fees covered by the company for the duration of employment contract.
This position has the potential to become a salaried Official ((PN)) Event Coordinator in which tournament and large gathering platform events are executed.
