An Optimum Technology Product Manager defines digital/tech roadmaps for Optimum Mobile, Broadband (Fiber/DOCSIS), or Ad Tech, focusing on customer experience via data, collaboration with Engineering/IT, and product lifecycle management (ideation to launch) for features like broadband, Wi-Fi, and connected home, requiring telecom knowledge, analytics (SQL, Tableau), Jira, and strong problem-solving to bridge business needs with technical execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Roadmap & Strategy: Develop digital product roadmaps, manage backlogs, and translate market needs into actionable plans.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with IT, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Experience teams for product development and launches.
- Product Lifecycle: Oversee planning, execution, and delivery, from concept to benefit realization.
- Data & Analytics: Use data (KPIs, user feedback, market trends) for decision-making, performance monitoring, and ROI.
- Customer Focus: Drive improvements in product quality, performance (speed, latency), and user experience.
- Problem Solving: Investigate persistent issues, find root causes, and implement solutions to reduce escalations.
- Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering: Lead or support requirements gathering activities, including:
- Business process analysis and current/future state mapping
- Translate complex business needs into clear, actionable user stories.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience: 3-5+ years in Product Management/Operations, preferably in Telecom/Tech.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with Broadband (DOCSIS, Fiber), Wi-Fi, SQL, Jira, Confluence, Tableau.
- Analytical: Strong ability to interpret data, analyze KPIs, and develop data-driven strategies.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management.
