We're looking for a skilled, experienced Barber with a strong background in men's haircuts. The ideal candidate for this position has professional experience working with men's hair and will be able to use a variety of men's grooming tools and products. A successful candidate will work well with our team of stylists and enjoys working in a busy, fast-paced environment.
Job duties
- Cut and trim hair according to client's instructions or preferences
- Shampoo customers' hair
- Shave and trim beards and mustaches
- Provide other hair treatment, such as waving, straightening and tinting and also provide scalp
- conditioning massages
- Supervise apprentices/students in training
- Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair
- Suggest hair style compatible with client's physical features or determine style from client's
- instructions and preferences
- Maintain and order supplies
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour

- Halifax, NS B3J 1K1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- hair styling: 1 year (preferred)
