Responsibilities
- Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or other modalities.
- Assess client concerns and develop customized treatment plans to address specific issues or goals.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized treatment environment in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Educate clients on post-treatment care and wellness practices to enhance ongoing health benefits.
- Keep detailed records of treatments provided and client progress for future reference.
- Provide exceptional customer service by creating a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere for clients.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and new techniques through ongoing professional development.
Requirements
- Valid massage therapy license or certification in accordance with state regulations.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to anatomy, physiology, and massage therapy techniques.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in client care.
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not required; training will be provided if necessary.
