Civil Modeller (Civil 3D) and Surveyor
Parsus Engineering is looking for a Civil / Drainage Modeller to join our growing team. In this role you will be responsible for developing accurate 3D models and engineering drawings for site and land development, transportation, drainage projects, and occasional field surveying. Working closely with engineers, this position supports project planning, design, analysis, and construction documentation through advanced modelling.
Responsibilities
- Develop 3D civil models and construction drawings using Civil 3D.
- Prepare grading, drainage, road, and municipal servicing designs.
- Produce plans, profiles, cross-sections, and construction details.
- Assist with stormwater management and drainage modelling.
- Process survey, LiDAR, GIS, and other existing conditions data.
- Perform quantity calculations and earthwork estimates.
- Complete field surveys and site investigations as required.
- Coordinate with engineers and other disciplines throughout design.
- Update drawings during permitting and construction.
Requirements
- Graduated from the Civil Engineering Technology program.
- Eligible to start registration with The Certified Technicians & Technologists Association of Manitoba (CTTAM).
- Must possess a valid driver’s license for a passenger vehicle.
- Occasional travel to remote project sites, including overnight and extended stays, is required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D.
- Knowledge of grading, drainage, municipal servicing, and site development.
- Experience with survey equipment and field data collection.
- Familiarity with LiDAR, GIS, drone surveys, or 3D reality capture is considered an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
