DKI Calgary (Restoration company) is looking to hire a full time Lead Water & Fire Damage Restoration Technician to join our well established, yet growing team.
Job responsibilities & duties:
- Supports the emergency response and restoration project to ensure the goals and needs of our clients and our customers are being met.
- Cleaning and preparation of sites that includes clean-up of rubble, debris, plus set up of site protection and may be required to remove mold, asbestos, lead and other hazardous materials. Leading on site team to mitigate a loss site
- Learning to understand and calculate of appropriate and required amount of equipment a necessity
- Learn new water damage techniques and drying practices
- Learn and practice onsite emergency response activities with assistance under a Lead Tech direction
- Ensure that the workplace is a clean, safe and uncluttered workplace that minimizes cross contamination
- Learn and practice correct procedures when environmental work is required
- Provide assistance and support co-workers with completion of tasks as required
- Some heavy lifting is required
- Qualifications :
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and clear criminal record required.
- Solid interpersonal skills with strong customer service orientation
- Availability for scheduled on-call and after-hour shifts

- IICRC Certificates a bonus
- Candidates with additional IICRC certificates will be given preference
- On call required on rotation
