Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server/Cashier to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, taking orders, handling cash transactions, and ensuring a positive experience for all guests. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with food preparation and POS systems are highly valued. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using Micros POS or similar systems
- Handle cash transactions efficiently and responsibly, including cash handling and basic math calculations
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Prepare and serve food items following proper food safety and sanitation standards
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, counters, and workstations in accordance with sanitation guidelines
- Assist in food preparation as needed, supporting kitchen staff with basic tasks
- Ensure timely delivery of orders to customers, managing time effectively during busy periods
- Address customer inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not required
- A reliable mode of transpoartation or live within waling distance
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus
- Strong customer service skills
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures ( **Having a valid Food handler certificate is a huge bonus)
- Experience in food preparation or kitchen work is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently during high-volume service periods
The potential start date is June 1st 2026, with mandatory training starting a few days before.
