Delivery Truck Driver – HIAB / Crane Operator

We are looking for a full-time Delivery Truck Driver with proven crane experience to help deliver building materials to our customers across Greater Victoria and Vancouver Island. You’ll join a supportive crew, operate well-maintained equipment, and enjoy the security of working for a growing company with deep local roots.
What You’ll Do
· Safely operate company delivery trucks (Class 3 or higher) equipped with HIAB or crane to deliver lumber and building materials to residential, commercial, and industrial sites.
· Load and unload materials with precision, ensuring secure and damage-free transport.
· Deliver with a smile, you’ll be a key face of our business to our customers.
· Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks.
· Keep accurate records of deliveries and paperwork.
· Pitch in around the yard when needed, organizing inventory, helping the crew, and keeping operations flowing smoothly.
What you will bring to Central Construction Materials:
· Minimum 2-4 years minimum of commercial driving experience (delivery and crane work preferred).
· Class 3 with Air Brake Endorsement required (Class 1 an asset).
· Demonstrated HIAB, truck-mounted crane, or similar equipment operating experience.
· Valid crane operation certification preferred (we’re willing to train and certify the right candidate).
· Strong safety awareness and the ability to follow all safety procedures without shortcuts.
· Physically capable of lifting and moving heavy building materials.
· Professional, dependable, and customer-focused with strong communication skills.
· Knowledge of Victoria and surrounding area routes is a plus.
