We are seeking a dedicated Installer/Service Technician/Labourer to join our team. We are seeking an individual to install, service, and repair garage doors and gate systems, both residentially and commercially. Perform regular maintenance and diagnosis for mechanical and electrical issues, including motors and openers. Be able to read technical manuals and schematics. Use hand tools and equipment, including scissor lifts and boom lifts. General labour. Follow all safety procedures and instructions. Education and training will be considered an asset. Duties
- Install various systems including plumbing, flooring, tile, and cabinetry according to project specifications
- Perform maintenance and repair work on existing installations, ensuring safety and compliance standards are met
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, fastening, caulking, and finishing tasks
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to execute projects accurately
- Assist with carpentry tasks such as framing, drywall installation, or restoration work as needed
- Apply construction painting techniques to prepare surfaces for finishing
- Conduct welding or other fabrication tasks when required for custom installations
- Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and adhere to safety protocols throughout each project phase
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Experience
- Proven experience with hand tools, construction methods, carpentry, blueprint reading, and schematics preferred
- Knowledge of caulking, restoration techniques, plumbing systems, welding processes, flooring installation, and tile laying is highly desirable
- Prior experience in construction painting or general labour roles is beneficial
- Ability to read technical drawings and follow detailed instructions accurately
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to different project requirements
- Physical capability to perform manual tasks including lifting heavy materials and working in various environmental conditions

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
