Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee our food service operations. The Kitchen Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the kitchen, maintaining food safety standards, and delivering exceptional customer service. What you will do in this role:
- Manage all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Develop and maintain standard recipes to ensure consistent quality and portion control.
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, including scheduling shifts and assigning tasks.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of kitchen equipment.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction.
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner.
- Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new kitchen staff.
What we are looking for:
- Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or similar role in the food industry.
- Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations.
- Excellent cooking skills with the ability to create delicious meals from scratch.
- Exceptional leadership abilities with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
- Outstanding customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficient in cash handling procedures.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
