Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dozer/Bobcat Operator to join our construction operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for residential and commercial Grading to support various construction projects. This role requires mechanical aptitude, safety awareness, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Minimum 5 years experience Grading is required. The position offers an opportunity to work locally on a variety of residential and commercial projects.
Duties
- Operate Bobcat skid-steer loaders and bull dozers to complete construction tasks effectively.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure safe operation.
- Assist with site preparation, grading, excavation
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA standards during all operations.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within specifications.
- Maintain a clean work environment around equipment and work site.
Skills
- Proven experience operating Bobcats (skid-steer loaders) and bull dozers in construction environments. Experience on Excavators will be considered an asset.
- Ability to read plans accurately and create the required elevations on site.
- Mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment including dozers and skid-steers.
- Valid G driver’s license is required.
- Strong understanding of construction safety standards and practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot minor mechanical issues independently.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately. This position is ideal for candidates with a background in heavy equipment operation within the construction industry who are committed to safety and quality workmanship.
Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
