Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the clinical team by providing exceptional patient care, assisting with dental procedures, and ensuring smooth office operations. Experience with Gold Software would be preferred but willing to train. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on delivering high-quality dental services.
Duties
- Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, including orthodontic treatments and pediatric dentistry cases
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments in accordance with infection control protocols
- Take and develop dental radiographs when required
- Manage patient records using Gold software, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
- Schedule appointments, confirm patient visits, and handle administrative tasks related to patient flow
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to uphold safety standards
- Support front desk duties as needed, including greeting patients and managing patient inquiries
Requirements
- Valid certification as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)
- Proficiency with Gold software would be preferred but willing to train.
- Experience in pediatrics and geriatric is highly desirable
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental care
- Strong understanding of dental assisting procedures and infection control standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and team collaboration
- Prior experience with CAD systems for digital imaging is a plus
