About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Digital Operations Coordinator & SEO Specialist to support our growing digital operations. This role combines WordPress website management, SEO, digital marketing, content management, basic server administration, customer communication, and technical troubleshooting.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong problem-solving skills who can manage multiple responsibilities while helping improve website performance, search rankings, lead generation, and overall digital operations.
This position offers flexible hours and the opportunity to work across a variety of exciting web, marketing, and technology projects.

Flooring Liquidators carries a wide range of luxury flooring products that add a refined look and feel to any residential or commercial space. From hardwood and tile to laminate and carpet, our 16 showrooms stock high-quality products from many trusted domestic and foreign flooring brands.
We have been in the flooring industry for over 20 years now and have worked with a diverse group of clientele, including homeowners, builders, contractors, designers, and HGTV. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage WordPress & Woocommerce sites with a focus on ACF plugin configuration.
- Implement caching systems and perform technical SEO on WordPress (including Google Tag Manager and Search Console).
- Handle end-to-end SEO: keyword research, on-page optimization, backlink building, and full SEO strategies.
- Operate and track digital campaigns via Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and related platforms.
- Occasionally communicate with customers to understand their needs if no one else is available.
- Manage basic server tasks—file management and databases—without deep coding expertise.
- Upload content, optimize images, and ensure tracking codes and landing pages function as intended.
- Respond to emails, chats, follow up on clients & IT-related tasks, and escalate larger issues.
Technical Assessment
As part of the hiring process, shortlisted candidates will be required to complete practical tasks designed to validate their experience and technical abilities. These tasks may include identifying and fixing website issues, troubleshooting bugs, resolving WordPress errors, improving website performance, optimizing images, correcting SEO issues, configuring plugins, working with product data, and completing other real-world scenarios commonly encountered in this role.
Candidates will be evaluated on their troubleshooting approach, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, communication, and ability to implement effective solutions within a reasonable timeframe.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with WordPress, including Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), theme customization, plugin management, and content management best practices.
- Strong understanding of website performance optimization, Core Web Vitals, caching, image optimization, CDN implementation, website security, and managing large product catalogs and product data sheets.
- Proven SEO experience, including keyword research, on-page SEO, technical SEO, backlink strategies, local SEO, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, schema markup, and SEO reporting.
- Hands-on experience managing and optimizing Google Ads, Meta/Facebook Ads, conversion tracking, remarketing campaigns, and lead generation initiatives.
- Familiarity with basic server administration, including file management, DNS records, SSL certificates, database management, website migrations, backups, email configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to communicate professionally with clients, gather requirements, provide updates, document solutions, and report technical issues clearly.
- Experience with website content updates, image editing, landing page creation, CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization), and digital marketing campaign support.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues, fix bugs, implement solutions, and coordinate with developers or vendors when required.
- Experience working with WooCommerce, large product inventories, product imports/exports, and e-commerce websites is considered a strong asset.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks effectively, meet deadlines, and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience with social media management, content scheduling, audience engagement, reputation management, and performance reporting across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and X.
- Experience using AI-powered tools and platforms to improve productivity, content creation, research, marketing campaigns, automation, and business operations.
- Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to gather information, evaluate solutions, identify opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Experience creating reports, dashboards, KPI tracking, and performance summaries using Google Analytics, Search Console, Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, and other marketing platforms.
- Ability to document processes, prepare training materials, create SOPs, and maintain clear records of tasks, issues, and project updates.
- Experience working with CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, customer support tools, and lead management processes is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic PHP troubleshooting is considered a strong asset.
