Mabel Lake Provincial Park is seeking a motivated individual to fill a “seasonal” part or full time position. The position starts ASAP to September. This position includes, but is not limited to, security runs and patrols to enforce park rules, registration and checking in campers, selling and delivering firewood, collecting garbage and recycling, washroom cleaning and janitorial duties. Up to 35 hours/week. Wage is $21 per hour.
Shifts available are:
7:00am - 3:00pm, 2 or 3 times per week, consecutively or to fit your own schedule.
3pm - 11pm, 2 or 3 times per week, consecutively or to fit your own schedule.
Or both on separate days, if you are interested in full time work. Example: 3 days then 2 evenings
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with clean driver's abstract
- Must be in good physical condition
- Must have positive attitude and good communication skills in dealing with the public
- Must be a team player
- Must be able to be able to multitask and work well under pressure in a fast pace environment
- Must be able to count and handle money
- Must be comfortable enforcing the rules
Successful candidate has the option to live on-site. We offer full camping hook-up with laundry facilities and wi-fi.
