Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for staff and visitors. Previous custodial experience and familiarity with commercial cleaning are preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals. Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in assigned areas
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas according to established standards
- Use cleaning equipment and supplies effectively and safely
- Follow safety protocols and proper handling of cleaning chemicals
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper as needed
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently within scheduled timeframes
Qualifications
- Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks and lift light loads
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow safety guidelines effectively
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
