We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be passionate about oral health and providing exceptional patient care.
*Duties*
- Perform dental cleanings and complete periodontal examinations and charting
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
- Take and develop dental x-rays and intraoral photographs
- Maintain patient records accurately
- Administer fluoride treatments and apply sealants
- Conduct periodontal charting and screenings for oral health issues
- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment when necessary
*Requirements*
- Certification or Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene
- Alberta licensure as a Dental Hygienist
- Experience with Cleardent, Curve or Open Dental software is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Strong customer service skills
- Bilingual proficiency is a plus
- Previous experience in a dental office or dental assisting role
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $54.00-$68.00 per hour
