As a Fine Dining Server, you will work with a talented team of Servers under the supervision of the Head of Food and Beverage, to deliver professional and memorable dining experiences to guests.
RESPONSIBILITIES-
Provide impeccable dining room service to guests while maintaining the highest levels of operational efficiency

Trained in all aspects of food service at the Lodge, including breakfast, lunch and dinner

Explain menu options and take orders with accuracy and professionalism, assisting in selection if requested

Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure timeliness and accuracy of all orders

Working in a team environment with all departments

Ensure adherence to all dietary restrictions and special orders

Preparation of dining room for ensuing shifts

Shift work and split shifts are required
QUALIFICATIONS-
1-2 years relevant work experience in an F&B environment, ideally in a fine dining or upscale dining establishment

Exceptional operational skills to ensure all aspects of service run smoothly with the highest levels of guest satisfaction

Familiarity with fine dining and wine is a significant asset

Understanding of restaurant operations. High-end hotel operational experience is an asset

Excellent customer-service mindset and a talent for solving problems effectively

Ability to communicate effectively and to work as part of a high-performing team

Punctuality and skill at managing time effectively

Split shift and shift work is required. Shift start time and end time will vary according to occupancy and departmental needs. Split shifts, overtime and extra work days are required during busy periods. Every team member will be expected to contribute to their own team, and to other teams as well. Team members will be cross-trained to be able to work in other departments where needed.
